Directions

From I-5, take the Alger Exit (exit 240). Continue East on Cain Lake Road. Approximately 0.2 miles past Old Highway 99 park in the pullout 300 feet past Silver Creek bridge. Note - cross-traffic does not stop at intersection of Cain Lake Road and 99. Trailhead is just west of parking area on north side of street - look for yellow gate.

Notes

Part of this trail is a leg of the Pacific Northwest Trail. Great for a snowshoe or cross-country ski route during lowland snow. Glimpses of many surrounding lakes including Whatcom, Samish, and Squires. Mountain views include Blanchard, Lookout, and Chuckanut
