Northwest Forest Pass is required. The quarters of Heybrook Lookout are perched 67 feet above the ground. Once a Forest Service fire lookout, The Mountaineers group spent eight years, upwards of 8,000 man hours, and thousands of dollars worth of donations to completely rebuild it.
