From I-5, head to US 2 east. After 2.2 miles, take the exit for State Route 204 toward Lake Stevens. At the second stoplight - approximately 2.6 miles - turn left onto Hwy 9. In about 1.7 miles, turn right onto Hwy 92 and head 8.2 miles to Granite Falls. Turn left on Mountain Loop Highway. After about 26 miles, turn left (north) on to Coal Lake Road. Stay on Coal Lake Road until it ends (about 5 miles).
