Directions

From I-5, head to US 2 east. After 2.2 miles, take the exit for State Route 204 toward Lake Stevens. At the second stoplight - approximately 2.6 miles - turn left onto Hwy 9. In about 1.7 miles, turn right onto Hwy 92 and head 8.2 miles to Granite Falls. Turn right at the intersection with North Alder Street. Drive 1.2 miles and turn left onto Waite Mill Road. Continue for 0.5 miles to a schoolbus turnaround and take the road branch to the left following it to the Robe Canyon Historic Park Lime Kiln Trail and go left. Parking lot in 200 feet.

Notes

A history lesson. Trail goes along remnats of the Everett and Monte Cristo Railroad Grade built in 1892-1893 and abandoned in 1934. Canyon Lime and Cement Company built the lime kiln which was built in 1899. Keep an eye out for several artificats found along the trail.
