From I-5, take exit 252 (Samish Way). From the south, take a left at the top of the off-ramp and a left at the following signal. From the north, turn right at the top of the off-ramp. Turn left onto Bill McDonald Parkway. Turn right on 25th Street. Part of the Sehome Hill Arboretum, this trailhead can be found by heading up the hill proceeding through a wooden, turnstile-type gate and proceed right up a steep hill. At a four-way intersection, cross the Arboretum Walkway trail and continue up the stairs.
