Sulphide Creek/Sulphide Camp

Notes

This trail features some enormous trees - massive red cedars are everywhere. Other trees along the trail include western hemlock, Pacific silver fir, black cottonwood, and red alder.

At Sulphide Camp, there are several campsites where tents can be pitched.

Looking up the valley from the bed of Sulphide Creek, Jagged Ridge and Crystal Glacier on the east side of Mount Shuksan can be seen.

An Essential

Food and Water

Don’t forget to pack some energizing snacks and plenty of water. If you need to treat water, water treatment pills can help, but only boiling water can kill the parasite Giardia.
