Notes

The Lost Lake Trail provides access to the central Chuckanut Mountains. From the parking lot, follow the Fragrance Lake Road for ~1.75 miles to the junction with the South Lost Lake Trail on the right. After about 0.1 miles take the trail to the right continuing on the South Lost Lake Trail. Continue in a SE direction for about 1.2 miles where you come to a junction. Follow the trail to the left for about 0.5 miles to the next junction. Take the trail to the right and you'll follow the west edge of Lost Lake. After about 0.6 miles, take the trail to the right where you'll head south and will follow the east edge of Lost Lake for about 1.2 miles. At the next junction, take the trail to the right. After another 0.7 miles, take the trail to the right as you head towards Burnout Road. Follow the road to the right for about 1,100 feet where you'll reconnect with the trail on the right. After 0.2 miles, you'll take a left. At this point, you were on this part of the trail earlier. Follow for 1.2 miles and take the trail left at the junction for a short 0.1 mile trail before reconnecting to Fragrance Lake Road. Keep to the left and you'll head back to the parking lot.

Safety Tip

No Cell Service

Don’t count on cell service in the wild. There might be dead zones and trees blocking your way from getting an emergency satellite signal.
