Not possible to drive to trailhead, road closed at Stillaguamish bridge. Large rock and debris slide, difficult to pass at mile 1. Trail not maintained. Crossing of Dicks Creek can be difficult.

Passes 7.6 acre Myrtle Lake. Views or surrounding mountains include: Glacier Peak to the east, White Horse, Three Fingers, and even Mt. Rainier to the south. To the west, you can see the Olympics and Puget Sound.
