Directions
The Notch Pass trail is located 4.7 miles from the Quilcene Ranger Station. Drive south one mile to Penny Creek Road, take a right, go 1.4 miles staying to the left at the "Y" at the two gravel roads. Drive about 0.9 mile and take a right on the Road #010 (unmarked), then drive 1.4 miles to trailhead. Note: If you reach the paved 27 road you went one mile too far after the "Y".
Notes
Hike through dense conifer forest on a trail constructed in the 1930's by Civilian Conservation Corps trail crews and get glimpses of the Olympic peaks including Mt. Constance.
