Directions
From Tonasket take State Route 20 east 20 miles to Bonaparte Recreation Area exit on Okanogan County Road 4953, which joins Forest Service Road 32. Bonaparte Lake Campground is 6 miles from State Route 20 turn off. Upon entering the campground keep to the left on FS Road 32-012, go past the boat ramp to the parking area. Walk across the earthen dam and continue on the road about 300 feet to the trailhead.

The trail winds uphill to a rocky overlook above Bonaparte Lake.
