Pyramid Peak is an old lookout site that was used until 1968.
This moderate 0.7 mile hike or horseback ride begins at 4,960 feet at the Pacific Crest Trail and travels south for one mile to a junction to the Pyramid Peak Trail. Head east and climb up to Pyramid Peak at 5,715 feet. The trail is primitive and can be hard to find at times.
