Notes

Begin at the Crystal Mountain Resort base area, uphill from the chapel and hike under Gold Hills Chair 7. From the right side of Chair 7 the trail enters timber to Jim Town, an old mining camp at mile 1.7. This is also the junction with Crystal Mountain Trail 1163. The trail then climbs to Bear Gap and Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail 2000 and Henskin Lake Trail 1193 at mile 2.1.
