Directions
From Twisp drive west about 17.5 miles on Okanogan County Road 9114, which becomes Forest Service Road 44, to Forest Service Road 4400-220 and the trailhead.
Notes
Trail begins in Douglas fir and ponderosa pine forest and climbs north into Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness. It is steep for the first 3 miles; last 2 miles easier through forest and meadows to Slate Lake.
