Directions
From the north end: Drive Highway 35 south from Hood River for 14 miles to Pinemont Drive (Forest Service Road 17). Turn left onto Pinemont and continue for 5.0 miles to Road 630 (spur road immediately south of the powerlines). Turn right onto 630 and follow to parking area.
From the south end: From Hood River, take Highway 35 south for 26 miles to Forest Service Road 44. Turn left and follow for 3.5 miles to Road 620. The trail crosses Road 620 a few yards from the junction with Forest Service Road 44.
