A short 0.5 mile trail along Royal Creek that starts within Buckhorn Wilderness and leads into Olympic National Park to access the Royal Basin area.
Ascends gradual at first with some steep sections before arriving at Royal Basin (6.0 miles) in the Park. Royal Basin is in the Olympic National Park and is surrounded on three sides by rugged rock ridges. Water is available along route.
