Directions
Take U.S. 101 to Lake Crescent, west of Port Angeles on the northern tip of the Olympic Peninsula. Turn right on East Beach Road and drive to the Lyre River Junction trailhead. Alternatively, continue on U.S. 101 to Fairholm on the West end of the lake for a short drive to the trailhead there.

Follows the north shore of Lake Crescent under Pyramid Mountain. This trail traces part of an old railroad line.
