Directions
From I-5, head east on Highway 20 to Newhalem. Just before Newhalem, turn right at the sign for the North Cascades Learning Center. After getting the green to cross the bridge, continue to the center's parking lot. You can access the trailhead by either going around the visitors center or by going through it.
Notes
Trail was dedicated in 1994 in honor of Senator Henry M. Jackson's long-time chief of staff, Sterling Munro. From the viewpoint a portion of the Picket Range lies before you.
