Directions
From I-5, take State Highway 20 west to Anacortes. Turn left on Commercial Avenue when entering Anacortes then turn right on Fidalgo Avenue. Continue left on O Avenue, right on 41st and left on H Avenue which turns into Heart Lake Road. The parking lot will be on your right. Park in front of the big log. Trail #210 is on your right.
Notes
This is part of the Anacortes Community Forest Lands. There are many trails that intersect with trail #210. Keep left at the intersections. At one point, trail # 210 just kind of ends. Another trial (# 212) bolts to the right and up a steep hill. Continue on 212 until intersecting with trail #243 on the right - look for a sign midway up a tree on your right. Follow this trail until it intersects with trail #210. Take a left and follow the trail back to the trailhead. Great hike in any weather and is family friendly. There are plenty of exposed roots on the trail - so tread carefully.
