Directions
From I-5, take the College Way exit in Mount Vernon and head west. Turn south at the intersection with Freeway Drive (Dairy Queen is on one corner of the intersection). Turn right into the paved parking lot at Lions Park at the intersection of Freeway Drive and Cameron Way. The west end of the trail begins by crossing on the North side of the lighted intersection. Follow the wide sidewalk under the freeway along Cameron Way. Cross the lighted intersection with Riverside Drive and turn North. Enter the parking lot for Skagit Habitat Store and continue along the North side where you will see the start of the wooded section of the trail.
Notes
The longest trail in the City of Mount Vernon extends from Lions Park on the edge of the Skagit River to Bakerview Park.
