Notes

From the parking area, there are a few different trailheads. The Port of Skagit Nature Trails are wide gravel paths that go throughout the Port of Skagit area. From the parking lot, if you take the northern trailhead, you will follow along Higgins Airport Road eventually taking you to another road where you can cross to the right and follow along the tarmac which will lead to more trails in the north side of the complex. How long of a hike you take is up to you as the interconnection of the trails allows for quite a bit of variation in distances.
