From I-5, take the College Way exit in Mount Vernon and head east to 18th Street. Turn south down 18th. Take the street until it ends at Blackburn Road. Make a left (heading east) on Blackburn and follow the road until it turns right and becomes Little Mountain Road. One-quarter mile past the turn, the road leading up to Pickering Viewpoint on top of Little Mountain is on the right. It is 1.5 miles to the viewpoint.
