Directions
From I-5, take State Highway 20 west to Bayview-Whitney Road. Turn north and continue 3 miles to the signed trailhead and parking lot. At the south end of the trail, about 1 mile from Highway 20, is another trailhead with a small gravel parking lot for a few cars. To find the parking lot at the north trailhead, take a right just past the trailhead and you'll see parking available. Use caution when crossing the road back to the trailhead especially if children are along for the hike.
Notes
A flat stretch that is part of the Pacific Northwest Trail offering views of waterfront, farmland and birds. In a couple spots along the way are benches and a picnic bench.

Padilla Bay Shore Trail
Although the tide was out during this particular trek, the views were spectacular. The wind today helped keep comfortable while the mid-day sun was beating down. Interesting to see the serpentine deeper sections of the flowing water along the tidelands..
