Directions
From I-5, take the Lakeway Drive exit in Bellingham and head East. Just past the entrance to Whatcom Falls Park, turn left onto Electric Avenue. After the three-way stop, Electric Avenue bears to the right and becomes Northshore Drive. Continue on Northshore Drive taking a left at the sign for Northshore Park which leads to the trialhead parking lot.

This trail follows the old Blue Canyon mine railroad grade along the shores of Lake Whatcom.
